Davis Perinatal Services offers virtual education for pregnant people and families who want clear, balanced, and evidence-based information during pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. My approach is calm, personalized, and grounded in both professional experience and the real questions families bring into this season.

Classes are designed to slow things down, translate evidence into plain language, and help families feel more confident navigating choices before and after birth.

My Approach

Classes

  • Lamaze Series

A comprehensive, Lamaze-informed childbirth education series supporting informed decision-making, confidence, and physiologic birth. Designed for families who want evidence-based preparation without pressure or rigid expectations.

  • Healthy Pregnancy

A practical workshop focused on supporting a healthy pregnancy through education, awareness, and realistic preparation — including what’s common, what supports well-being, and when to reach out for additional care.

  • What to Expect Postpartum

An honest, grounding class that prepares families for the physical, emotional, and practical realities of the postpartum period, with attention to recovery, adjustment, and knowing what’s normal versus when to seek support.

  • Newborn Care Basics

A calm, practical class covering newborn behavior, feeding basics, sleep, soothing, safety, and early adjustment to life with a baby.

  • Breastfeeding Basics

An introduction to natural breastfeeding strategies, including early feeding cues, positioning, latch basics, and common early challenges, grounded in physiologic principles and early postpartum realities.

A steady, human approach

Pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood can come with a lot of information — and a lot of pressure. My goal is not to tell families what they should do, but to offer clear, evidence-based education that helps you understand your options and feel more grounded in your choices.

Classes are designed to be calm, practical, and respectful of the many different paths families take. Questions are welcome. Uncertainty is expected. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive.

Whether you’re early in pregnancy or preparing for life with a new baby, this space is meant to support thoughtful preparation without urgency or overwhelm.
