Meet Your Instructor

Kelly Davis, RN, LCCE

I am a registered nurse and Lamaze-Certified Childbirth Educator with experience supporting pregnant people and new families across pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

My work has largely taken place in underserved and racially diverse communities, which has shaped how I teach and how I think about access, equity, and respectful care. I am especially attentive to the ways systems, bias, and gaps in education affect families’ experiences and outcomes.

I believe good education is a form of care. When families understand what is happening in their bodies and with their babies, fear often softens and confidence has room to grow. My goal is not to tell families what to choose, but to provide clear, evidence-informed information that supports thoughtful decision-making.

In addition to childbirth education, I offer classes focused on postpartum adjustment, newborn care, and breastfeeding preparation. I am currently pursuing a lactation credential and provide education grounded in physiologic, natural breastfeeding strategies.
